1734	We find some information about the founding of this society at Aufklärung in Europa, where we read: “Societas Latina Halensis (Halle, gegründet 1734, gab heraus: Pieredes sive Latium literatum, continens selectum elaborantium a membris societatis Latinae exhibitarum, ad omnigenam eruditionum facientium. 1736f.” The above text can be rendered in English as: “Societas Latina Halensis (Halle, founded in 1734), published: Pieredes sive Latium literatum, continens selectum elaborantium a membris societatis Latinae exhibitarum, ad omnigenam eruditionum facientium. 1736 and some later years.”
