1786	According to Grati, p.88, this body was founded in Genova in 1786 as the Società Patria di Arti e Manifatture and remained so until the fall of the Ligurian Republic under the Napoleonic regime in 1797. Grati, pp.88-89 goes on to indicate that in 1791 the Società Economica di Chiavari was founded as a direct affiliate of the Società Patria di Arti e Manifatture. According to Grati, p.89, with the fall of the aristocratic regime [i.e. 1797], the Società Patria was refounded as the Istituto Nazionale Ligure. According to Grati, p.92, the Istituto Nazionale Ligure and two other societies ceased to exist after 1815 [when, according to p.89, Genova was annexed by the Regno di Sardegna].

This appears to be a single volume of a journal publication, since Grati, p.98, indicates that the Società Patria delle Arti e Manifatture published a periodical entitled Memorie Coronate; the source does not, however, give any indication of the years this periodical ran; nor can we find any trace in a library catalogue, with the exception of this single 1791 volume.
