Although the Society held its organizational meeting in Newark (now Niagara-on-the-Lake), much of its later activity appears to have been centered around Toronto. Its headquarters (Osgoode Hall) were constructed in 1828 just outside the then town of York (now Toronto). With the expansion in the city boundaries, the headquarters have long been within the city of Toronto. This information is provided by its website ().
