1798 - 1934	Dülmen (1992), p.154 gives a founding year of 1798; the name is given as Mecklenburgisch-landwirthschaftliche Gesellschaft. The founding date is also given on p.151 of Dülmen (1996). A Wikipedia article on the Mecklenburgischer Patriotischer Verein indicates that it had been founded in 1798 as the Mecklenburgische Landwirthschafts-Gesellschaft and changed its name to Mecklenburgischer Patriotischer Verein in 1813. This Wikipedia article also indicates that the organization was dissolved in 1934 by order of the Nazi government.
