This was not, strictly speaking, a publication of the
Gesellschaft für Natur- und Heilkunde zu Dresden.
Heidel (2002), p.157, however, points out that
the editors of the journal were all founding members of the Gesellschaft.
Moreover, Heidel (2002), p.160 indicates that within
the five volumes were found a truly comprehensive selection of papers
presented at the sessions of the Gesellschaft.
Heidel (2002), p.158 reproduces the title page of the
Erster Band, with the author statement: "Herausgegeben von den Professoren
der chirurgisch-medicinischen Akademie in Dresden D.D. Brosche, Carus,
Ficinus, Franke, Kreysig, Ohle, Raschig, Seiler, Treutler."
