1820
According to Friedrich & Wolf (2000), this Union was founded in 1820 as the Apothekerverein in Westphalen, from which the Apotheker-Verein im Nördlichen Teutschland emerged. It later became the Apotheker-Verein in Norddeutschland = Norddeutscher Apotheker-Verein. In 1850 the latter merged with the Süddeutscher Apothekerverein (founded in 1848) to form the Allgemeiner Deutscher Apothekerverein, later known as the Deutscher Apothekerverein or Deutscher Apotheker-Verein.

Lemgo
Germany
Lemgo is the place of publication listed for the first two journals of the Union, namely, Archiv des Apotheker-Vereins im Nördlichen Teutschland für die Pharmacie und deren Hülfswissenschaften and Pharmaceutische Zeitung des Apotheker-Vereins im Nördlichen Teutschland. Lemgo, therefore, seems likely to have been the seat for the Union.

According to Bolton, p.440, #3572a, this entire 1822-1831 run was edited by Rudoph Brandes.
According to a record in the GBV German Union cat., this was continued by the Annalen der Pharmacie / hrsg. von Rudolf Brandes [u.a.].
RSLC, v.12, pp.viii-ix, however, gives a different story: vols. 40 (1832) - 50 (1834) appeared as part of Liebig's Annalen der Chemie und Pharmacie (began in 1832), and the run for vol.51 (1835) was then continued as C.
