According to Maylender (1926-1930), v.2, p.336, the Academy was founded in May of 1822. It is not quite clear what the name at founding in May was. Maylender indicates that in its constitution it was referred to as Accademia Scientifico-Letteraria, and the designation "Euteleti" was added a year later on 1823, February 10.
Yet on the same page, Maylender (1926-1930) quotes the title of the first volume of the body's Effemeridi as: Effemeridi della Società Scientifico-Letteraria degli Euteleti in Samminiato erreta nell'anno del Signore 1822 nel mese di Maggio, solennemente renduta pubblica nel dì 30 Dicembre 1822.
At an
historical page on the Accademia degli Euteleti
(maintained by the Istituto e Museo di Storia della Scienze), we read that, after being founded in May 1822 as
Società Scientifico-Letteraria, in 1823 it took the name Accademia degli Euteleti. [note - the external link is saved on archive.org]
This above information would seem to suggest that the name in the first several months (at least) was Società Scientifico-Letteraria, probably including also some designation for the locale, San Miniato. Then by late 1822 or early 1823 it took the name Società Scientifico-Letteraria degli Euteleti in Samminiato, and later in 1823 it became simply the Accademia degli Euteleti.
Maylender (1926-1930), v.2, p.337 notes that the Effemeridi lasted until November 1853. According to Maylender (1926-1930), v.2, pp.337-338, the Academy published four volumes of Atti: Vol.1 (1822-1826), Vol.2 (1826-1832), Vol.3 (1832-1839) and Vol.4 (1839-1841).
