According to cataloguing data at the Bibliot. Nat. France cat., the Society kept this name until 1891; from 1892, Jan.1 to 1907, April 4 it was called the Société de Médecine et Chirurgie Pratiques; by 1907, April 27 it, along with the Société Médico-Chirurgicale de Paris (founded in 1805 as the Société Médico-Pratique de Paris ) had been absorbed into Société de Médecine de Paris (f. 1796).
